Assistant HR Business Partner, Commercial

About the role

The Assistant HR Business Partner – Commercial works closely with the HR Lead to manage people‑related activities across the Commercial, Logistics and Procurement functions. The role combines operational HR delivery with strategic consultancy, ensuring HR policies and solutions support business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement HR plans aligned with Commercial/Logistics/Procurement goals to improve business performance.
• Partner with the Resourcing team on recruitment campaigns, onboarding new hires and coordinating pre‑employment checks.
• Support line managers in talent reviews, performance management and succession planning using tools such as Functional Resource Committees.
• Provide HR data reporting and analysis (headcount, org charts, FTE tracking, expat management) for routine and ad‑hoc needs.
• Assist with change‑management initiatives including restructures, job design and outsourcing to enhance cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to close skill gaps and drive commercial excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR Business Partner or generalist experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field; professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM‑CP/SCP, HRCI) is an advantage.
• Proven influencing, coaching and solution‑focused problem‑solving abilities.
