Asset Finance Sales And Business Development Officer

About the role

We are seeking an Asset Finance Sales and Business Development Officer to drive growth of our asset finance portfolio across vehicles, heavy equipment and commercial machinery. The role involves structuring deals, managing client relationships and expanding our dealer network in Lagos and nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, originate and close high‑value asset finance opportunities for corporate, SME and individual clients.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with automotive dealers, equipment vendors and OEMs to generate a steady lead pipeline.
• Structure sound financing deals, monitor portfolio quality and keep default rates within institutional limits.
• Lead negotiations, prepare proposals and coordinate credit assessments with risk and operations teams for timely approvals and disbursements.
• Maintain accurate real‑time pipeline data using CRM tools and track market trends, competitor pricing and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Proven track record in asset finance, commercial equipment leasing or financial services sales at a mid‑to‑senior level.
• Strong understanding of financial metrics, repayment structuring, risk assessment and lease contract negotiation.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders, key decision‑makers and institutional vendors.
• Target‑driven mindset with experience in managing pipelines and achieving sales quotas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using pipeline tracking tools.
