Architect – Luxury Residential & High‑Rise Projects

About the role

Sujimoto is seeking a senior Architect to lead the design of luxury residential, hospitality and high‑rise developments in Lagos. The role combines creative design, technical documentation and on‑site coordination to deliver premium projects that meet both local regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovative architectural concepts and luxury design solutions, producing drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical and interior design consultants to ensure design integration and constructability.
• Conduct site visits, review contractor submissions and shop drawings, and address architectural issues during construction.
• Obtain statutory approvals, manage permits and liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with building codes.
• Maintain Sujimoto’s luxury design standards, reviewing materials, finishes and specifications for quality and sustainability.
• Present design concepts to management, investors and clients, and collaborate with external consultants and vendors.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of architectural experience, preferably in luxury residential, hospitality or high‑rise projects.
• Proven portfolio of premium developments.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Senior‑level qualification as indicated in the posting.
