Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

The company is seeking a senior structural engineer to lead design and analysis for a portfolio of buildings, power plants and other infrastructure projects across multiple sites in Lagos. You will ensure compliance with codes, guide site teams and deliver high‑quality structural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and analyse structural systems, preparing calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Oversee structural engineering activities on several construction sites simultaneously.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and approve shop drawings, construction methodologies and conduct on‑site inspections.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve structural issues and maintain quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• COREN‑registered engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and multi‑project management.
• Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
