Architect – Design & Construction

About the role

E-direct is seeking a motivated Architect to lead the design and delivery of residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed‑use projects. You will translate client objectives into detailed architectural solutions while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, designs and detailed construction drawings.
• Produce plans, elevations, sections, layouts and 3D visualisations.
• Meet clients to capture project goals, functional requirements, budgets and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections, feasibility studies and project assessments.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, planning regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, civil engineers and other consultants.
• Prepare technical specifications, schedules and comprehensive project documentation.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, shop drawings and material samples.
• Supervise construction activities to guarantee adherence to approved designs.
• Monitor project progress, resolve design‑related issues and recommend sustainable material solutions.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting and scheduling, and prepare reports and presentations for management and clients.

Required profile

• Minimum of an S.S.C.E qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar architectural role.
• Strong understanding of building codes, planning regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
