About the role
We are seeking a results‑driven Amadeus Specialist who will lead travel and tour sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of the Amadeus GDS with strong business development skills to attract and retain both individual and corporate clients.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development plans to grow the client base.
- Manage end‑to‑end travel bookings (flights, hotels, car rentals, tours) using Amadeus and other platforms.
- Identify, pitch, and secure high‑value travel contracts for corporate customers.
- Create tailored travel packages and promotional offers for diverse market segments.
- Maintain and deepen client relationships through proactive communication and service excellence.
- Lead digital and traditional marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility and conversions.
- Monitor industry trends and introduce innovative travel solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
- Submit weekly performance and marketing reports to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of travel arrangements.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales and profitability targets.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in travel sales, marketing or business development.
- Proven track record of closing corporate travel deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Self‑motivated, customer‑first mindset and ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced team.
Required skills
- Strong proficiency with Amadeus GDS.
