Agency Director

About the role

The Agency Director will lead the senior team of a fast‑growing creative agency, ensuring high‑quality client deliverables while driving new‑business growth. You will partner with the Founder on strategy, positioning and long‑term direction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop Creative Strategists, Account Managers and other senior staff.
• Set performance standards, conduct reviews and close capability gaps through hiring or training.
• Own the quality, timeliness and profitability of all client work.
• Monitor capacity, allocate resources and improve operational processes.
• Build and execute a business‑development pipeline, from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• Represent the agency at industry events and maintain senior‑level client relationships.
• Collaborate with finance on forecasting, reporting and cash‑flow visibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years in a creative, digital or communications agency.
• At least 3 years in a senior leadership role with direct team management.
• Proven track record of winning new business and growing revenue.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage profit margins.
