Administrative Manager

About the role

The Administrative Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day administrative, procurement and fleet operations for Worklyn Global in Lagos. This role ensures smooth office functionality, efficient vehicle management and cost‑effective supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of office supplies, consumables, cleaning materials and vehicle‑related items, from quotation to delivery.
• Negotiate with suppliers, maintain supplier records and ensure proper documentation.
• Oversee company fleet, scheduling, maintenance, insurance, registration and mileage tracking.
• Coordinate driver recruitment support, attendance, rosters, leave, performance and compliance with safety policies.
• Allocate vehicles and drivers daily, record usage, destinations and mileage, and prioritize business‑critical trips.
• Plan and monitor preventive vehicle maintenance, review repair quotations and control maintenance costs.
• Maintain fuel records, monitor consumption, investigate anomalies and prevent unauthorized claims.
• Track vehicle registration, insurance, roadworthiness and driver licence validity.
• Respond to accidents, breakdowns and emergencies, liaise with insurers and repair workshops, and keep incident records.
• Administer office facilities, cleaning, security, repairs, equipment, access control and reception support.
• Build and maintain a reliable supplier database, evaluate performance and develop alternatives when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of experience in administrative, procurement or fleet management.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and control costs.
• Experience coordinating vehicle dispatch, maintenance schedules and driver performance.
