Account Payables & Receivables Executive

About the role

The Account Payables & Receivables Executive will manage the end‑to‑end processing of invoices, vendor payments and brand receivables for a fast‑moving retail and fashion business. You will ensure accurate matching, timely payments and proper reconciliation of sales and inventory transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and process high volumes of vendor invoices, performing 3‑way matching with purchase orders.
• Identify and resolve pricing or quantity discrepancies before approval.
• Assist daily reconciliation of retail store sales, card settlements and gift‑card redemptions.
• Process Return‑to‑Vendor chargebacks and maintain up‑to‑date vendor statements.
• Prepare and execute vendor payments in line with credit terms, ensuring correct WHT and VAT deductions.
• Raise invoices for brand‑related transactions such as rebates, credit notes and recoveries.
• Monitor receivables, track aging, and follow up on overdue balances.
• Reconcile incoming payments with invoices and resolve variances.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all transactions are captured in the ERP system.
• Support process improvements and uphold financial policies and SOPs.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or a similar finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high‑volume data.
• Good communication skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams.
