Well Completions Engineer – Petroleum Engineering

About the role
We are seeking a Well Completions Engineer to plan, design, coordinate and supervise well completion, workover and intervention operations. The role ensures safe, efficient and cost‑effective execution while meeting client specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and prepare well completion programs and procedures.
- Develop detailed job execution plans, risk assessments and contingency plans.
- Review well data and recommend appropriate completion equipment and techniques.
- Prepare technical calculations for tubing strings, packers, completion fluids and downhole tools.
- Supervise on‑shore and off‑shore completion, workover and intervention operations, coordinating mobilization, installation, testing and retrieval of equipment.
- Monitor job execution to ensure compliance with approved procedures and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Ensure proper installation and functionality of packers, safety valves and other completion tools.
- Coordinate with drilling, wireline, slickline, coiled tubing, stimulation and production teams.
- Maintain strict compliance with HSE policies, client procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the technical focal point for clients and provide daily operational updates and recommendations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in well completions, workover or well intervention operations.
- Experience in land, swamp or offshore environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with completion equipment from major service companies is desirable.

What we offer
- Salary of N2,500,000 per month plus additional benefits.
