Wealth Manager (Fixed Deposit Mobilization)

About the role

CredPal, a financial technology company offering credit cards and investment solutions, is looking for a client-focused Wealth Manager with a proven track record in deposit mobilization and a strong portfolio of high-net-worth and affluent clients. The role covers acquiring and managing client relationships, growing the investment and savings portfolio, providing tailored wealth management solutions and driving revenue through financial advisory. It is a full-time position based in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients for deposit and investment products.
• Driving deposit mobilization by promoting fixed deposit and investment plans to existing and new clients.
• Conducting financial needs assessments and recommending customized investment strategies.
• Maintaining client relationships to secure repeat business, retention and referrals.
• Monitoring deposit targets and tracking monthly and quarterly growth KPIs.
• Holding regular financial reviews with clients and keeping them informed on market trends and investment opportunities.
• Delivering presentations, one-on-one consultations and financial education sessions.
• Ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting performance, pipeline and client feedback to leadership, and attending industry events to build networks.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of proven experience in fixed deposit mobilization, investment sales, wealth management, investment banking or portfolio growth.
• Demonstrated ability to mobilize deposits and manage a strong portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting deposit, sales and revenue targets.
• Strong business development, relationship management and client acquisition skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills; highly organized and self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of financial products, investment markets, wealth creation strategies and investor behavior.
• Ability to manage multiple client portfolios effectively.
