Volunteer Legal Advisor for Entrepreneur Community

About the role

Join the PHEN community as a Volunteer Legal Advisor and become the legal backbone for entrepreneurs, founders, and creators in Port Harcourt. You will help members protect their ideas and businesses while gaining exposure to a dynamic startup ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Review and maintain the community NDA signed by all members.
• Advise members on CAC business registration and appropriate legal structures.
• Guide members on trademark and intellectual property protection.
• Create simple contract templates for use with clients.
• Deliver a quarterly legal literacy session during Saturday meetings.
• Be available as a trusted legal resource for community members.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer based in Port Harcourt.
• Knowledge of Nigerian business law, intellectual property, and contract law.
• Passionate about supporting young entrepreneurs and community development.
• Available to attend Saturday meetings periodically.
• Commitment and enthusiasm are valued over prior community‑work experience.
