About the role
Cardinal Security Services Limited is hiring a Vetting and Investigation Officer in Lagos (Marina). The role covers background checks, document verification and due diligence on employees, vendors and clients, as well as investigating reported incidents, compliance breaches, fraud and security threats.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct background checks, document verifications and due diligence on employees, vendors and clients.
- Investigate reported incidents, compliance breaches, fraud or security threats and produce detailed factual reports.
- Gather evidence, interview relevant parties and maintain secure case documentation.
- Assess risk levels and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate operational and security risks.
- Liaise with internal teams, external agencies and law enforcement when necessary.
Required profile
- A minimum of 3 years of experience.
- A minimum of a degree in a related field.
