Upper Primary Teacher - British Curriculum (Lagos)

About the role

TeachEast is recruiting an Upper Primary teacher for a growing British international school in Lagos, Nigeria, starting in August 2027. The school offers a well-resourced campus with specialist facilities and opportunities for professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach upper primary pupils following the UK primary curriculum.
• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and undertake regular evening and weekend boarding duties.

Required profile

• Experience teaching upper primary pupils.
• Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum.
• Commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing and positive relationships.
• Experience with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is preferred but not essential.
• All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, qualification and identity checks, and safeguarding and criminal record checks.
