Unit Manager

About the role

The Unit Manager will lead a team of Financial Advisors, driving insurance policy sales and market penetration for Heirs Life Assurance. This full‑time, onsite position focuses on building a high‑performing sales force while ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and mentor Financial Advisors to create a high‑performing sales team.
• Set sales targets, monitor performance, and ensure business goals are achieved.
• Coach team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase insurance policy sales and market penetration.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Support advisors during client meetings and assist in closing high‑value opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• Prepare and submit sales, recruitment, and performance reports to management.
• Organise team meetings, training sessions, and motivational activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key business partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• Proven sales experience, preferably within insurance or financial services.
• Experience managing or leading a sales team.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Target‑driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Good understanding of insurance products and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM tools.
