UGC Video Creator & Video Ad Specialist

About the role

Gidi Tour is a UK-based tour and travel company connecting international and diaspora travellers with locally vetted guides across several African countries and the UK. It is looking for a creative UGC and video ad creator to make scroll-stopping, high-converting videos for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

Key responsibilities

• Create UGC-style videos such as testimonials, day-in-the-life clips, tour highlights, unboxing and travel stories
• Produce short-form video ads (15-60 seconds) with strong hooks, clear storytelling and CTAs
• Write scripts and hooks tailored to travel audiences and the African diaspora
• Edit videos with captions, music, transitions and branded elements
• Produce multiple ad variations for A/B testing and analyse performance (CTR, watch time, conversion)
• Work with the team to align content with campaigns, tour launches and promotions
• Deliver files in the correct formats for each platform

Required profile

• Proven portfolio of UGC videos or paid social ads, ideally in travel, tourism, lifestyle or e-commerce
• Experience creating content for Meta Ads and TikTok Ads
• Good understanding of direct-response ad principles (hook, problem, solution, CTA)
• Excellent storytelling and on-camera presence, or access to creators with it
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently; good English

Required skills

• Video shooting and editing with CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar
• Nice to have: Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager, motion graphics or voiceover skills
