Treasury Sales Officer

About the role

Jubilee-Life Mortgage Bank Limited is hiring a commercially minded, analytical and relationship-focused Treasury Sales Officer to support its Treasury Sales, Liquidity Management and Asset & Liability Management function. The role goes beyond operations: it involves mobilising deposits, understanding financial markets and translating market intelligence into solutions that support the Bank's liquidity, profitability and risk management objectives. It reports to the Head, Treasury Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the Bank-wide flow of funds daily through year-end to ensure operational liquidity, and review the asset and deposit liability mix to optimise the portfolio.
• Mobilise deposits and ensure the Bank has enough funds to meet its day-to-day obligations.
• Identify and monitor exposure to interest rate and liquidity risks, and recommend a balance between liquidity and profitability.
• Support Treasury product promotion and advisory services to corporate customers, and help structure tailor-made products for investment and hedging needs.
• Scan financial and money markets daily, maintain the Money Market database and provide market intelligence to Treasury and business development.
• Prepare rate risk analysis, money market reports, ALCO minutes and Treasury reports, including annual budgets and Treasury income reports.
• Monitor Treasury activities against approved limits, guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or another relevant quantitative discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in banking or financial services; Treasury, ALM, financial markets or liquidity management experience is an advantage.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CFA, ACI, CTP or a second degree are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical and financial modelling skills, and good understanding of banking operations.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship management skills, with attention to detail.
