Treasury Portfolio Manager

About the role

Crednet Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Capital Markets, Treasury and Portfolio/Fund Management professional to lead the company's treasury, investment and portfolio activities. The role drives portfolio growth and profitability, optimizes liquidity and returns, manages SEC-approved investment products and ensures strong regulatory compliance and risk management. It is a full-time, senior-level position.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, originate, evaluate and execute investment opportunities across approved asset classes, including fixed income, equities, money market instruments and alternatives.
• Lead the treasury, investment and portfolio management strategy and oversee asset allocation, security selection, rebalancing, performance monitoring and risk management.
• Manage treasury and liquidity, including cash-flow forecasting, cash positioning, short-term investments, funding needs and deployment of surplus funds.
• Drive growth through client acquisition, investment mobilization and relationship management with high-net-worth individuals, corporates, institutional investors and other strategic clients.
• Build relationships with banks, brokers, custodians, fund managers, institutional investors and regulators.
• Develop investment products and solutions aligned with market opportunities, regulatory requirements and client needs.
• Conduct market research, financial analysis and portfolio reviews, and advise Executive Management on treasury and investment matters.
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, investment guidelines, internal policies and risk frameworks.
• Lead the Treasury and Investment team, prepare investment proposals, financial forecasts, performance and management reports, and develop team capability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or a related field; CFA, ACT, ACA/ACCA, CPA, CIS, FRM or an MBA is an added advantage.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in Treasury, Capital Markets, Investment Management, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Corporate Finance or related fields, with senior-level experience.
• Proven track record managing liquidity, cash positions, funding requirements and capital market transactions in a regulated environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing investment and treasury strategies.
• SEC sponsored individual status or relevant SEC registration is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of money and capital market instruments (Treasury Bills, bonds, fixed income, equities, mutual funds, repos).
• Portfolio management: asset allocation, security selection, rebalancing, yield optimization, performance measurement and risk-adjusted return analysis.
• Risk management covering market, liquidity, interest-rate, credit and counterparty risks, and regulatory and governance requirements.
• Analytical and financial modelling skills, including spreadsheets, cash-flow forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis, investment appraisal and portfolio modelling.
• Commercial judgment, business development, negotiation, leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
