Travel Desk Officer – Airline Agency Support

About the role

We are looking for a Travel Desk Officer to act as the primary liaison between United Nigeria Airlines and accredited travel agents in Enugu. The role ensures smooth handling of agency requests, supports ticketing and booking processes, and drives revenue through the agency channel.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for travel agency inquiries, bookings, ticket issuance, refunds, EMDs, fare rules and schedule changes.
• Provide timely updates on new policies, promotions, schedules and fare changes to agents.
• Resolve complex PNR issues, ticketing errors, revalidations, involuntary changes and disruptions.
• Monitor agent performance, support sales campaigns, commission structures and promotional offers.
• Ensure compliance with airline ticketing processes, GDS standards and prevent ADM incidents.
• Track and report on agent interactions, performance metrics and pending cases.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Management, Customer Service, Ticketing and Airport teams.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc. in Business, Aviation Management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of airline ticketing processes and travel agency operations.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and airline ticketing platforms.
• Knowledge of agency debit memo (ADM) procedures and fare compliance.
