Travel Consultant (Ticketing Specialist)

About the role

The Travel Consultant will manage flight bookings, ticket issuance and itinerary changes for clients in Lagos. The role demands strong organisational abilities and a solid grasp of airline ticketing processes to deliver seamless travel experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in selecting and booking flights that match their preferences and budget.
• Manage reservations using global distribution systems such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo.
• Issue tickets accurately, handle reissues, exchanges and cancellations in line with airline policies.
• Provide detailed itineraries and travel information to clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service before, during and after trips, resolving issues promptly.
• Promote and sell flight tickets and related services, meeting sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, transactions and client interactions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products and travel regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a travel consultant or in a ticketing-focused role.
• In‑depth knowledge of airline regulations, passport and visa requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
