Training Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Training Consultant to design, deliver and evaluate learning solutions for our internal teams in Lagos. The role will partner with business units to close skills gaps and enhance employee performance through a variety of training methods.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct skills gap analyses and map long‑term training plans for internal teams.
• Prepare educational materials such as manuals, order books and e‑learning content.
• Select appropriate training methods, including on‑the‑job coaching, workshops, conferences and e‑learning courses.
• Schedule regular soft‑skills development and management training sessions.
• Assess the impact of training on employee performance and report on outcomes.
• Liaise with external partners and outsource training when required.
• Gather feedback from trainees and trainers after each session.
• Prepare cost reports for each learning program and update curriculum databases and training records.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Training Consultant, Training Coordinator or similar role (minimum 3 years).
• Hands‑on experience organising corporate training events.
• Excellent communication and solid organisational abilities, with capacity to manage multiple trainings simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Software (LMS).
