Junior Learning and Development Officer

About the role

The Junior Learning and Development Officer will support Estrada International Staffing Solutions’ Talent Acquisition (TA) team by designing, delivering and maintaining learning programmes that boost recruiter capability. Reporting to the TA Enablement lead, you will ensure new and existing recruiters progress through clear skill milestones and achieve faster time‑to‑productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and maintain the EISS Talent Acquisition Capability Playbook covering headhunting, Boolean logic, ATS hygiene, client brief calibration and interview techniques.
• Audit recruiter performance metrics (Time‑to‑Fill, shortlist conversion) to spot capability gaps and create targeted training interventions.
• Own the 30‑day onboarding journey for all new TA hires, delivering bootcamps, shadowing sessions and tool training.
• Train the TA team on optimizing recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, AI sourcing prompts, ATS features and candidate assessment frameworks.
• Align all learning programmes with Estrada’s internal growth ladder, defining skill milestones for promotion from Associate to Consultant and Senior levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc/HND) in Human Resources, Educational Management, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in Learning & Development, TA Enablement, HR capability building or as a Recruitment Consultant.
• Practical understanding of agency/consultancy recruitment lifecycle, candidate sourcing techniques, ATS tools and client SLA dynamics.
• Proven ability to design engaging learning content, slide decks and training modules and to facilitate energetic sessions.
• Passionate about coaching others, patient yet firm on standards and operational rigor.
