Training & Business Development Officer

About the role

The Training & Business Development Officer will plan, market, organise and execute training programmes while driving revenue growth through new business opportunities. This role combines expertise in training delivery with proactive business development to expand the firm’s client base.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and promote training services across multiple channels to acquire new clients.
• Design, deliver and coordinate customised training programmes that address client‑specific needs.
• Conduct market research to identify training trends, develop proposals and marketing strategies.
• Update course materials, ensure timely availability and maximise enrolment through aggressive marketing.
• Prepare reports and presentations for clients, gather feedback and refine training products.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field (minimum 2:2); HR qualifications are an advantage.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a training consultant, coordinator or similar role.
• Strong organisational, communication and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently or within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with contemporary data‑management software.
