About the role
We are looking for a reliable Trailer Driver to pick up and deliver packages, documents and other items across Lagos in a timely and secure manner. The role involves planning efficient routes, handling delivery paperwork and maintaining vehicle safety.
Key responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages, documents and other items to specified locations promptly and securely.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to optimise delivery times.
- Obtain signatures, confirmations or collect payments upon delivery.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is in good working condition and all vehicle documents are up to date.
- Adhere to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies and drive safely at all times.
- Update logbooks and report any matters related to the vehicle to a supervisor.
Required profile
- Valid rider’s/driver’s licence or card.
- 1‑2 years of driving experience, preferably on Lagos routes.
- Familiarity with local roads and traffic conditions.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Punctual, reliable, honest and able to work with minimal supervision.
- SSCE/WAEC qualification or higher.
