Trade & Deposit Relationship Manager, Business Banking

About the role

The SME Business at Standard Chartered serves businesses with annual turnovers of up to USD 100 million. You will manage and develop relationships with mid‑sized and emerging corporates, driving growth, delivering financial solutions and ensuring compliance with operational risk and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve individual financial and non‑financial targets by acquiring, growing and retaining profitable medium‑enterprise customers within acceptable risk parameters.
• Contribute to the team’s overall target and deliver optimal portfolio return.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, Team Managers, Segment Heads, Client Due Diligence, Risk, Compliance, and product partners to build effective partnerships.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience serving business, commercial and corporate clients, including cross‑border international businesses.
• Proven track record in client relationship management and business development, with strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modelling and credit assessment.
