Ticketing/Visa Officer

About the role

Amy Travels Limited is hiring a Ticketing/Visa Officer in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The role covers flight reservations, ticket bookings and issuance, and assisting clients with visa applications.

Key responsibilities

• Handle flight reservations, ticket bookings and ticket issuance for clients
• Assist clients with visa application procedures and documentation requirements
• Provide accurate information on flight schedules, fares, travel routes and visa requirements
• Process flight cancellations, rescheduling, rebooking and ticket amendments
• Prepare and review visa application documents for completeness and accuracy
• Advise clients on passport validity, visa forms, supporting documents and appointment procedures
• Coordinate visa application appointments and monitor application progress
• Communicate with airlines, travel agencies, embassies, consulates and other relevant authorities when needed

Required profile

• Minimum of OND/HND or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 1-5 years of experience in airline ticketing and/or visa processing
• Good communication, customer service and organisational skills
• Attention to detail, honesty and ability to work under pressure

Required skills

• Knowledge of Amadeus or other airline reservation systems
• Good understanding of flight bookings, ticket issuance, rebooking and cancellations
• Knowledge of visa application procedures and documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication
