Third Party Supplier Management Officer

About the role

The Officer, Third Party Suppliers Management will build and maintain constructive relationships with external suppliers, ensuring contracts align with business needs and deliver value throughout their lifecycle. This role works closely with internal IT, procurement, and vendor management teams to guarantee service continuity and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and nurture supplier relationships, negotiating contracts that meet business requirements.
• Define and enforce contract clauses, SLA metrics, penalty provisions, escalation matrices, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring value for money and compliance with contractual targets.
• Maintain a supplier policy, standards, and an up‑to‑date Supplier and Contract Database.
• Collaborate with Group Vendor Management and Procurement to manage renewals and avoid expired contracts.
• Work with IT Service Monitoring (PACC/SRE) to track and resolve service‑related issues.
• Provide timely audit and assessment documentation for IT third‑party suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather required audit data and ensure clear ownership of contractual issues.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in vendor or supplier management.
• Professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience with financial management is advantageous.
• Strong behavioural competencies such as articulating information, documenting facts, embracing change, and establishing rapport.
