Telesales Representative – Admissions Counselor

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, sales‑driven Admissions Counselor to convert qualified leads into enrolled, paying students. As the first point of contact, you will drive enrollment revenue through proactive outreach and persuasive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Contact prospective students daily via phone, WhatsApp and email to present academic programs.
• Identify applicant needs, handle objections and guide prospects through the application and enrollment process.
• Ensure applications are completed accurately, follow up on missing documents, and communicate eligibility outcomes.
• Explain enrollment fees, secure timely payments and coordinate with Finance.
• Build trust through consistent follow‑up, maintain momentum from first contact to enrollment.
• Log all interactions, application updates and payment status in the CRM and provide regular pipeline reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in telesales, call centers or high‑volume customer acquisition.
• Strong persuasive communication skills with the ability to handle objections and close sales.
• Results‑oriented mindset and a sense of ownership.
• Comfortable working remotely, flexible hours to support students in different time zones.
• Home office and personal laptop are mandatory.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems such as Zoho, Salesforce or similar.
• Proficiency using WhatsApp, email and other messaging tools for sales communication.
• Highly organized ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
