Telemarketing & Sales Representative

About the role

The Telemarketing & Sales Representative will engage prospective customers through phone, WhatsApp, email and other channels, turning enquiries into confirmed sales for Avocado Virtual Solutions’ sister brands. This full‑time, hybrid position combines outbound prospecting with relationship management to achieve monthly revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Contact and follow up on assigned leads via phone, WhatsApp, email and other communication tools.
• Convert enquiries into paying customers while meeting set sales targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update the CRM after each interaction.
• Promote products, offers and campaigns across both brands, upselling and cross‑selling where appropriate.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales activity reports.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in telemarketing, sales, customer service or business development.
• Banking experience or prior use of CRM tools is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently in a hybrid setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Experience using WhatsApp Business for customer outreach.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and digital communication tools.

What we offer

• Base salary of NGN 70,000–150,000 per month.
