Telemarketer – Vendor Acquisition (Contract)

About the role

The Telemarketer – Vendor Acquisition will contact event vendors across Nigeria to invite them to join Elfrique’s digital marketplace. This contract position focuses on outbound calling, explaining platform benefits, and guiding vendors through registration.

Key responsibilities

• Make at least 80 outbound calls per day to pre‑extracted vendor contacts.
• Introduce the Elfrique Vendor Management System and explain the advantages of listing services.
• Assist vendors in completing their online registration and answer basic platform questions.
• Handle objections using the approved call guide and maintain a professional tone.
• Follow up with interested vendors who did not finish registration.
• Record call outcomes accurately in the daily log and submit it to the supervisor.
• Participate in weekly performance reviews and act on feedback.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated and target‑driven, able to work without constant supervision.
• Resilient and comfortable handling rejection while maintaining energy.
• Honest and able to represent the platform accurately.

Required skills

• Strong verbal communication in English; additional local languages are a plus.
• Basic computer literacy – comfortable using a browser, calling applications, and messaging tools.
• Data entry and record‑keeping abilities.
