Technical Training Instructor

About the role

The Technical Training Instructor will join JacinthForge Technical Academy to design and deliver part‑time, hybrid training for trade‑focused courses. Working primarily from Lagos State with some remote flexibility, you will ensure learners receive practical, industry‑aligned instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and training materials that are clear, hands‑on and aligned with industry standards.
• Teach live and virtual classes, demonstrate tools and techniques, and assess learner progress through assignments and evaluations.
• Provide constructive feedback, mentor learners, and foster an inclusive, safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to refine and update course content.
• Utilise digital platforms to deliver online modules, track outcomes and support continuous improvement of training programs.

Required profile

• Experience in technical training, training & development, or instructional design.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Relevant experience in a skilled trade such as plumbing or related technical fields.
• A diploma or degree in a technical discipline, education or related field.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms and basic digital tools.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively and promote an inclusive classroom culture.
