Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

The Technical Sales Engineer will be based on‑site in Port Harcourt, promoting the 12d Model software to engineering, surveying, government and academic clients across Nigeria. This full‑time position combines product demonstration, pre‑sales consulting and post‑sales support to help clients adopt advanced design tools.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct product presentations, live demos and workshops for prospective and existing customers.
• Analyse client requirements and prepare tailored technical proposals and quotations.
• Manage the sales pipeline, follow up leads and support contract negotiations.
• Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical assistance, including software implementation and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to refine product positioning and gather feedback for product enhancements.
• Develop training materials and documentation based on customer interactions.
• Travel within Nigeria to attend client meetings, demonstrations and training sessions.

Required profile

• Proven technical sales and sales engineering experience with a track record of closing deals.
• Background in civil engineering, surveying, geomatics or a related technical discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client‑facing presentations.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel across Nigeria for client visits.

Required skills

• 12d Model software (experience preferred).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Online presentation platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
• General surveying or engineering design software.
