Technical / Operations Manager

About the role

Trevi Group is seeking an experienced Technical / Operations Manager to lead foundation engineering and geotechnical activities across multiple project sites in Nigeria. The role combines hands‑on supervision of piling and ground improvement works with strategic planning and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all foundation engineering and geotechnical operations, including bored piles, CFA piles, micro‑piles, sheet piling, diaphragm walls, anchoring and ground improvement.
• Plan, coordinate and execute foundation works in line with project specifications, method statements and construction schedules.
• Supervise mobilisation and operation of foundation equipment, rigs, cranes, batching plants and other heavy machinery.
• Monitor productivity, site progress, quality performance and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, clients, consultants and subcontractors on technical and operational matters.
• Lead troubleshooting and provide technical solutions for complex geotechnical challenges.
• Ensure implementation of HSE standards and safe working practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–15 years of experience in foundation engineering and construction operations.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure, marine, industrial or commercial projects.
• Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
• Experience in Africa or remote project locations is an advantage.
