Quantity Surveyor – Cost Management & Procurement

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will lead cost estimation, budgeting and procurement activities across multiple project sites in Nigeria. You will work closely with clients, architects and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost control and delivery of high‑quality construction outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documents based on specifications and drawings.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure optimal prices and terms.
• Manage project budgets, forecast expenses and monitor cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions and provide advice on risk management and cost‑saving measures.
• Participate in pre‑tender activities, raise queries and support the bid preparation process.

Required profile

• B.Sc degree in Architecture or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in site supervision, project management and cost estimation.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural and design competence.
• Knowledge of national building codes, HVAC standards and green building certifications (LEED).

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Revit, SketchUp and Lumion.
• Advanced cost estimation and cost management techniques.
