Technical Assistant Engineer – Field Support & Lead Generation

About the role

The Technical Assistant Engineer will provide on‑site technical support at construction and building sites while identifying and documenting qualified business leads for the sales team. This role combines field engineering assistance with lead generation to ensure timely project fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned construction and building sites to deliver required technical support.
• Identify, generate and document potential business leads during site visits.
• Hand over qualified leads to Field Sales Agents for follow‑up and closure.
• Ensure leads are valid, client‑required and can be fulfilled within 72 hours.
• Maintain accurate records of site visits, leads generated and activities performed.
• Support the Field Sales Manager with technical and operational tasks in the field.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management in line with business needs.

Required profile

• Minimum HND or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, building materials and site operations.
• Previous field, site or technical support experience is an advantage.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and engage clients professionally on‑site.
• Strong communication, reporting and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work extensively in the field.
• Willingness to travel across different locations within Nigeria.
• High level of integrity, reliability and adaptability to changing schedules.

Required skills

• Basic technical knowledge of construction processes and building materials.
