About the role
The Tax and Financial Auditor will visit client sites across Lagos, Rivers and Abuja to examine tax documents and financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Visit clients to examine and analyze tax documents and financial records.
- Design and execute audit plans using standard practices and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain required paperwork and ensure strict compliance with internal and external audit standards.
- Identify risk areas, review financial materials for errors or misuse, and document findings.
- Prepare and publish audit reports, providing status updates to internal teams.
Required profile
- BSc/HND in Accounting or related field.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- 3+ years experience in tax and financial auditing, preferably with government revenue services.
- Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Office tools.
