System Administrator

About the role

IESL is looking for a motivated System Administrator to maintain and secure its IT infrastructure and support end‑users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑level technical support for hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Administer network servers, operating systems and virtualization platforms.
• Implement and maintain security controls such as firewalls, endpoint protection and monitoring solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support cybersecurity initiatives.
• Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and other identity‑management systems.
• Maintain, test and document backup and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Participate in IT projects including upgrades, migrations, cloud moves and infrastructure improvements.
• Promote user awareness of information‑security best practices and evaluate emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in systems or network administration, IT infrastructure support or a similar role.
• Proven experience managing enterprise networks, servers, cloud environments and data‑center operations.
• Experience supporting ERP systems and enterprise business applications.
• Hands‑on experience with backup, recovery and IT‑security solutions.

Required skills

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert.
• CompTIA Network+ (N+), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and ITIL Foundation certification.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, Active Directory and virtualization platforms.
• Experience with firewalls, endpoint protection, security monitoring and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Proficiency in backup, disaster‑recovery and cloud‑environment management.
