Supply & Procurement Officer

About the role

The Supply & Procurement Officer will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process, ensuring accurate order handling and timely delivery for our customers in the oil and gas sector. This role involves close coordination with Original Equipment Manufacturers, internal logistics, and client teams to maintain smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and correct discrepancies in customer and OEM purchase orders before external communication.
• Maintain and update the open orders spreadsheet, tracking each order from placement through delivery.
• Record all communications with OEMs and customers regarding orders.
• Generate progress reports, completion dates, and highlight production challenges.
• Provide weekly updates to customers on order status and estimated delivery dates.
• Pass relevant order information to the logistics manager for processing.
• Inspect received orders for correct quantity and product specifications.
• Update goods inventory records and accompany deliveries to customers or warehouses within Nigeria.
• Prepare Request for Quotes (RFQs) as needed.

Required profile

• HND or BSc degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time‑management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Integrity, honesty and ability to work effectively in a team.
