Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Supply Chain Officer will support the end‑to‑end procurement and logistics processes for a retail, fashion and FMCG business. You will work closely with suppliers, warehouse teams and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing, purchasing and replenishing goods, materials and supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate delivery schedules and follow up on purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance for timely delivery and quality compliance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts and supplier databases.
• Track inventory levels, conduct stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate storage, handling and movement of goods between suppliers, warehouses and customers.
• Track shipments, prepare shipping documentation and resolve transportation issues.
• Support demand planning and procurement activities based on business requirements.
• Assist in implementing supply‑chain policies, monitor performance and suggest process improvements.
• Prepare reports on inventory, procurement, supplier performance and logistics operations.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or related field.
• Entry‑level experience (up to 24 months) in supply chain, procurement, inventory or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control and warehouse operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
