Strategist - Brand Strategy & Integrated Marketing

About the role

Brand Samurai Ltd is a strategy-focused company that helps organizations clarify their brand, define their market position and achieve sustainable growth. It works with clients across diverse sectors, combining analytical thinking with creative approaches. As a Strategist you will develop integrated traditional and digital marketing strategies, act as a trusted advisor to clients and support business development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop fully integrated traditional and digital marketing strategies and solutions, and create client proposals, strategic presentations and business development documents
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns and platforms such as social media, email, SEO, SEM, websites, landing pages, automation, video and emerging technologies
• Work with account teams to define project scope and approach, and advise clients on branding, marketing and communication
• Audit clients' existing marketing efforts, monitor campaign performance and report results to stakeholders
• Research the media landscape, determine the best media mix for each client and review creative concepts for consistency with strategy
• Prepare strategy reports, campaign evaluations and client presentations, and provide benchmark and tracking reports on KPIs
• Brainstorm with the creative team and write detailed marketing strategy documents and integrated communication plans

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in English, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing or a similar field; a Master's or professional certification in Marketing, Branding or Strategic Management is an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing strategy, advertising or integrated marketing communications
• Previous experience in an advertising, marketing or communications agency
• Proven track record of developing strategic plans that benefit the client, able to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Capacity to handle multiple writing projects at once
