Storeman – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Storeman supports daily warehouse operations under the Customer Service Manager, handling receipt, storage, issuance of goods and operating material handling equipment. The role ensures accurate inventory management and compliance with SOPs.

Key responsibilities

• Move commodities using hand pallet jacks or certified forklifts and sort items for put‑away in the WMS.
• Pick, stage, and dispatch stock while maintaining proper documentation and adhering to SOPs.
• Assist with physical inventory counts, resolve variances, and report discrepancies within 24 hours.
• Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and protection of assets, and participate in HSE meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in warehousing operations.
• SSCE or O’ Level qualification.
• Certified forklift operator (for forklift use only).
• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and demonstrate initiative.

Required skills

• Material handling equipment operation (hand pallet jacks, certified forklifts).
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) usage.
• Inventory counting and variance resolution.
• Basic batch management and customer service interaction.
