Store Executive – Inventory & Repairs

About the role

The Store Executive will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Sun King retail outlet in Ankpa, ensuring sales targets are met while maintaining high standards of inventory control, repairs and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and record stock deliveries, manage inventory using FIFO principles and maintain accurate stock cards.
• Perform daily cycle counts, monthly stock‑takes and generate on‑hand and issue reports for stakeholders.
• Handle faulty units: conduct basic checks, perform warranty repairs, and coordinate disposal of unrecoverable items.
• Maintain a tidy shop floor, arrange SKUs, and keep the repair bench organized following safety procedures.
• Welcome walk‑in customers, provide product assistance, verify warranty eligibility and resolve queries in partnership with Energy Officers and the Call Centre.
• Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports on stock levels, repairs and re‑orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in retail, inventory or after‑sales support.
• Strong communication, integrity and a proactive, customer‑focused attitude.
• Team player with flexibility and proven report‑writing ability.
• Computer literate with working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
