Stock Officer

About the role

The Stock Officer will manage inventory flow within the warehouse, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting. This role supports sales, procurement and other teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Track stock movements, transfers, and dispatches.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
• Identify shortages, damages, discrepancies, and expired items.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
• Ensure proper storage, arrangement, and identification of stock.
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and other relevant teams on inventory needs.
• Maintain documentation for all stock transactions and keep the warehouse clean, organized, and secure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in inventory or stock management is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and record‑keeping abilities.
• Ability to work independently, accurately and under pressure.
• Physically fit to perform routine stock‑counting activities.
• Male candidates only.
• Willingness to work in Asaba, Delta State.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic computer applications.
