Solar Installation Engineer – Site Assessment & Design

About the role

Technautic Nigeria Limited is seeking a Solar Installation Engineer to lead the assessment, design, and deployment of solar energy systems across Abeokuta and surrounding areas. The role combines field work with technical design to ensure reliable, high‑performance solar installations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments, evaluating sunlight exposure, structural integrity, and suitability for solar panel installation.
• Develop detailed system designs, calculating capacity, layout, and component specifications for optimal energy production.
• Lead or assist in the installation of solar panels, inverters, wiring, and related equipment while adhering to safety standards.
• Perform commissioning activities, testing and troubleshooting systems to verify performance and compliance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, permits, warranties, and project records.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in solar energy system installation.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in diverse environments, including sites in Ojodu Berger, Mowe, and Opic, Ketu.
