About the role
We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team in Abeokuta. The role involves fabricating and assembling metal components while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and welding symbols.
- Cut, shape and clean metal surfaces using powered saws, plasma cutters and grinders.
- Operate manual or semi‑automatic welding equipment in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
- Inspect welded joints for defects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain and clean welding tools and machinery.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective gear.
Required profile
- Valid welding certificate.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on welding experience.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work shifts.
Required skills
- Welding (manual and semi‑automatic).
