Social Media Manager

About the role

Next Point Group, a diversified conglomerate in Abuja, Nigeria, is looking for a part-time, on-site Social Media Manager. The role manages and grows the company's presence across key social media platforms, aligning content with its technology, energy, real estate and security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute social media campaigns and develop content calendars.
• Create and write posts, and optimize profiles and content for engagement.
• Monitor performance metrics and stay current with social media trends and best practices.
• Respond to comments and messages, and coordinate with internal teams to highlight projects and initiatives.
• Ensure brand consistency across all channels.

Required profile

• Strong social media marketing and social media optimization (SMO) skills.
• Solid content strategy and writing skills, and excellent communication skills.
• Experience using social media analytics tools and reporting on reach, engagement and conversions is beneficial.
• Familiarity with visual content tools such as basic graphic design or video editing is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Abuja, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience managing social media for brands in technology, energy, real estate or security is a plus; relevant education or certification in marketing, communications or digital media is preferred.
