Social Media Manager

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is looking for a Social Media Manager based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The role covers managing the company's social media presence, creating content, growing the audience and working with marketing, sales and creative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
• Develop and implement social media strategies to raise brand awareness, engagement and online visibility.
• Create, edit and publish posts, reels, stories, videos, graphics and captions, following a content calendar.
• Monitor trends, hashtags, competitors and industry developments, and respond to comments, messages and enquiries.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and creative teams on products, campaigns and company activities.
• Track analytics, prepare performance reports and develop strategies to grow followers, generate leads and increase conversions.
• Coordinate influencer partnerships, online campaigns, giveaways and promotions; run social media advertising campaigns where required.
• Capture photos and videos during company events or arrange suitable visual content, keeping the brand image positive.

Required profile

• Minimum OND degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Social Media Executive or Digital Marketer.
• Good understanding of social media analytics, audience growth and digital marketing strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, creativity, attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio of previous social media work or campaigns is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Content creation, copywriting and storytelling.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools.
• Basic graphic design and video editing with tools such as Canva and CapCut.
