Site Risk Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Site Risk Manager to lead health, safety and environmental (HSE) management at our Ikorodu manufacturing site. The role ensures compliance with international standards, drives continuous improvement and supports safe operations across all site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and recertify ISO 45001 (OHS) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) management systems.
• Support implementation of GMP ISO 22716, QMS ISO 9001 and EnMS ISO 50001 where applicable.
• Monitor and report HSE performance indicators weekly to site management and monthly to engineering teams.
• Coordinate HSE projects, fire safety equipment servicing, and contractor management for the Ikorodu factory.
• Lead fire marshals, first aiders and safety champions to meet operational expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, factory and emergency response teams to ensure safe execution of routine and non‑routine jobs.
• Engage with regulatory and certification bodies to ensure statutory compliance.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Sciences/Engineering or Risk Management.
• NEBOSH International Certificate in Health & Safety Management.
• ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor training.
• Membership of a recognised safety professional body.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
