Job description
Key responsibilities
- Tackle all electrical breakdowns on his shift.
- Liaise with outgoing/incoming shift technicians about the state of plants.
- Ensure maximum utilization of electricians.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety at work.
- Liaise with day shift electrical technicians and electrical engineer.
- Carry out other assignments that may arise from time to time.
- Provide on‑the‑job training for all subordinate staff.
- Control and discipline subordinate staff.
- Inform subordinates of their job responsibilities and systematically appraise their performance.
- Communicate effectively with other supervisors on organisational matters.
- Advise immediate boss on up‑to‑date developments in areas of responsibility.
