Signage Artist Trainee

About the role

The Signage Artist Trainee will support senior artists in creating and installing visual signage for a variety of clients. This is a hands‑on learning position that combines design software work with practical production tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist experienced signage artists in designing signs, banners, stickers, posters, shop signs and vehicle branding.
• Prepare artwork files using CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Canva and ready them for printing.
• Support vinyl cutting, printing, laminating, mounting and finishing processes.
• Measure installation areas, help with indoor and outdoor signage installation, and handle material transport.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop and follow safety procedures.

Required profile

• SSCE or relevant training in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Arts or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physically fit, punctual, responsible and eager to develop professionally.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of CorelDRAW.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Familiarity with Canva (advantage).
